Julia Ammerman has practiced exclusively in the area of marital and family law in the Tampa Bay area since her admission to the Florida Bar in 2019. Julia earned her J.D. from Penn State Law in 2019 after receiving a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Communications Arts and Sciences, with a concentration in Rhetoric, from the Pennsylvania State University in 2016. Julia was also admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2021.
Julia is active in the legal community and is involved in several legal organizations, including the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar; the Stann W. Givens Family Law American Inn of Court of Tampa; the Hillsborough County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, serving as the Historian for the Board of Directors, and as the chair of the Marketing Committee; and the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers.
Julia’s practice includes dissolution of marriage litigation, domestic violence issues, paternity actions, spousal and child support, timesharing, and post judgment matters. Julia also devotes time in her practice as an Attorney Ad Litem for Crossroads for Florida Kids.
Outside of her legal community commitments, Julia enjoys spending time with her Husband, their daughter, and their pets.
