Amy D. Singer

Amy D. Singer is a native of Tampa, Florida, and has devoted her career to the practice of Marital and Family Law since her admission to The Florida Bar in 2000. With more than 25 years of experience, Amy has extensive experience handling complex family law matters, including pre- and post-nuptial agreements, divorce, parenting, child and spousal support, collaborative law, modifications, paternity, and domestic violence matters.

Amy earned her B.A. from the University of Central Florida in 1995, before attending Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, Amy was a national champion member of the Moot Court Board and received the Suzanne Armstrong Memorial Award for excellence in legal writing and professionalism.

Amy's experience in family law began well before she became an attorney. Prior to attending law school, she spent approximately nine years working as a legal assistant and paralegal in a family law office. That experience gave Amy a unique perspective on the practice of family law and a deep understanding of both the legal and personal challenges her clients face. Amy believes that effective representation requires more than knowledge of the law. It requires careful listening, sound judgment, critical thinking, and an understanding of the circumstances facing each client. She strives to provide thoughtful, practical, and results-oriented representation while helping clients navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives.

After practicing family law for more than two decades, Amy helped found Probasco Singer Bayne, PLLC, in 2022, a boutique family law firm focused exclusively on providing sophisticated, strategic, and personalized representation in family law matters. In addition to representing clients, Amy is actively involved in the continued growth and development of the Firm and is committed to maintaining the high level of personal service and advocacy that defines Probasco Singer Bayne.

Amy’s professional accomplishments have been recognized throughout her career. She has been recognized by several legal publications, including The Best Lawyers in America® and Florida Super Lawyers®. She is also the recipient of the Have-a-Heart Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award for her commitment to providing pro bono legal services to the community.

Throughout her career, Amy has been active in numerous legal and professional organizations. She has served on the Executive Boards of the Tampa Bay Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Stann Givens Family Law Inn of Court. She has also held numerous leadership positions with the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers, including President and Vice President. Additionally, Amy has also served on the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee of The Florida Bar and has participated as a speaker and moderator for continuing legal education programs addressing family law and related topics.

Outside of practicing law, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs, Kevin and Winston.
