eliane i. probasco

Eliane ("Ellie") Probasco has practiced exclusively in the area of marital and family law in the Tampa Bay area since her admission to the Florida Bar in 2002.  She earned her J.D. from Florida State University in 2002 after receiving her B.S. in Journalism from the University of Florida in 1999.  Ellie has been involved in several legal organizations, including the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, the Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Stann W. Givens Family Law American Inn of Court of Tampa, the Collaborative Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Tampa Bay Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers.

Having dedicated her entire career to assisting individuals through the family law process, Eliane ("Ellie") Probasco has a deep understanding of the nuances and complexities of what it takes to address her client's needs.

"Family law is unlike any other area of the law.  For most people, family law court is their first experience with the legal system. My goal is to leave my clients in a better position than when they first come to see me.  That is no easy task considering that most people leave with half of their assets and less time with their children.  But, if I can help someone through this difficult time, if I can help someone see there is life after family law litigation, I have done my job."

Ellie's practice includes dissolution of marriage, paternity, timesharing disputes, child support, division of assets and liabilities, including business interests, alimony, and the Collaborative Process.
